Dr Judith Crispin is a composer and musicologist, currently undertaking research on Modernist music and Western Esotericism at the Humboldt Universit�t, Berlin, Germany, where she also lectures on Messiaen. She is the author of The Esoteric Musical Tradition of Ferruccio Busoni and Its Reinvigoration in the Music of Larry Sitsky: The Operas Doktor Faust and The Golem (New York: Edwin Mellen Press, 2007).
