About the Author
Taylor works at Alan's Design Engineering restoration and custom trim facility in Escondido, California.
Cartoonist Tom Wilson originally created Ziggy when he was a card designer at American Greetings; Universal Press Syndicate began syndication of Ziggy in 1971, and the rest is history. A native of West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Wilson now lives in Cleveland. His son, Tom Wilson Jr., collaborates with his father on Ziggy; he lives in Cincinnati.

Outstanding overview for restoration

I am currently restoring a 66 FB, and found your book very helpful by providing an outstanding summary of items to be considered during restoration. Great value for the price. It covers many of the components and how to work them. However, additional information needs to be found from other sources for more specific detail. Examples are specifications, bolt torques, etc.
In summary, it's great, but not a standalone book.

This seemed like a good book for a 1st time restorer, but once received, it was discovered that several items we were looking to fix weren't included (Fuses, wipers etc)

Very informative. Novice mustang mechanic, and I bought this book hoping it would help. It is a bit more useful than the standard how-to car books, plus it has more photos!
